Google Account and Calendar Information

If a teacher or administrator chooses to sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar, LernPi may receive and store limited Google user data needed for that feature:

• Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and email verification status.
• OAuth access and refresh tokens granted by the user so LernPi can perform the requested Google Calendar actions.
• Google Calendar event identifiers and Google Meet links for live class sessions created from LernPi.
• Google Meet artifact metadata for completed LernPi sessions when available, such as recording links, transcript links or text, smart notes links or summaries, and sync status.

LernPi does not read, display, store, or analyze a teacher's existing Google Calendar events that were not created or managed through LernPi.

Use of Google User Data

LernPi uses Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing app functionality requested by the teacher or administrator. Specifically, LernPi uses Google Calendar access to create and update LernPi live class events, generate Google Meet links, send Google Calendar invites to verified student email addresses, and update or cancel only those class events from LernPi. For completed sessions, LernPi may fetch available Google Meet recording, transcript, and smart-notes artifacts so teachers and invited learners can view after-class materials inside LernPi.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Google OAuth tokens are retained only while your Google connection remains active or as needed to provide Google Calendar and Meet functionality. Calendar event identifiers, Meet links, recording links, transcripts, smart notes, and artifact status may be retained with the related LernPi session record so teachers and invited learners can access class history and after-class materials. When you disconnect Google, delete your account, or request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal information, including stored Google tokens, within 90 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, security, or regulatory purposes.

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this privacy policy.
